Raise your hand if you ever feel you’re “not enough.” Do you ever feel you’re “not smart enough” to contribute something meaningful to a class discussion or during a meeting at work? Do you ever feel you’re destined to be #ForeverAlone because you’re “not attractive enough” to find a romantic partner? Or do ever you feel you’re “not outgoing enough” to attend a party or networking event? Now is the time to confess, I have felt all of those things. There are many times when I feel I am not good enough and I know you have moments when you feel the same. I’m glad you’re here, because this post is just for you.

Over a year ago, I came across a passage that changed my life. The passage (or poem) is titled “I Am Enough” from The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth by Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen.  I don’t remember how I came across it. All I know is that after I read it for the first time, I immediately bookmarked the site I found it on. The passage even inspired me to create my own affirmation: “I am doing all that I can, I am doing the best that I can, and I can only do so much.”

But when my affirmation didn’t inspire me, I revisited Hansen and Allen’s poem. Recently, I printed a copy of the poem, decorated it with emoji stickers, and taped it at eye-level on my closet door. So read this when you feel like you’re not good enough:

“I Am Enough”

Today, I am enough.

I am smart enough.

Wise enough.

Clever enough.

Resourceful enough.

Able enough.

Confident enough.

I am connected to enough people to accomplish my heart’s desire.

I have enough ideas to pull off magic and miracles.

Enough is all I need.

Enough is what I have.

I have more than enough.

As I do all that I can do, I’m able to do more and more.

I am excited to be alive.
I rejoice and re-choice every day to make my life better.
I am happy, healthy, prosperous, successful, rich, loving, loved and beloved.
I am comfortable with myself, so I am comfortable with all others.
I confidently greet each day with a smile on my face and love in my heart.
Everyone who meets me is warmed by the radiance of my attitude.
I work on my attitude continuously.
I read positive, inspiring and uplifting books.
I associate with friendly, caring, nurturing people who are involved doing important things.
The people with whom I associate want more for me than I want for myself.
The projects with which I am involved WOW my soul.
I am passionately on-purpose to do good, be good and help others do the same.
I am enough. I have enough. I do enough.

– By Mark Victor Hansen and Robert G. Allen –

An affirmation for when you feel not good enough. The quote reads: "I am enough. I have enough. I do enough."

I hope you love this as much as I do! And if you happen to bookmark this page or print your own copy, let me know!

Remember, as Sierra Boggess says, “You are so enough. It is unbelievable how enough you are.
